Phage Display
2BScientific are proud to introduce our new phage display custom service.
Phage display technology allows recombinant protein to be displayed on the surface of a virus (bacteriophage) and screened against a target of interest. A whole library containing millions of proteins, often antibody heavy and light chains, can be screened this way. Successive rounds of screening and enrichment permit the highest affinity protein to be selcted and the DNA encoded by this phage sequenced.
Available via our partner lab we can offer antibody library construction, screening and sequencing of positive clones leading to delivery of a quality controlled novel antibody. We also offer peptide library construction and screening, as part of a protein interaction study or drug discovery work flow.
